29 January 2013 ~ Cheung Chau Part III ~ Tung Wan Beach
Listening to: Willie Nelson ~ Whiskey River
After visiting Pak Tai Temple, the guidebook suggested taking Cheung Chau Beach Road. Luckily the road was easy to find.
What a beautiful walk along the beach in the sun.
I was surprised by the number of sun-bathers...it didn't seem that hot to me.
Still not used to the haircut!
One of the best landscape views I came across in Hong Kong.
I never found the abstract sculpture honoring Cheung Chau's most famous daughter, Lee Lai-san, who won Hong Kong's first-ever gold medal, for mistral sailing at the Atlanta Olympics in 1996.
Instead, I found fishermen. Still worth the walk.
