While in Thailand we took a trip to Sao Chaliang from Ubon Ratchathani, where my co-workers family lives.

The bus ride was about 2.5 hours, I was a little hung-over, and the van didn't have air conditioning. We stopped for a gatorade-like drink, but it was sweeter.

This natural rock formations forms a mushroom like mass.

Fossilized seashells, pebbles and sand can be seen in the stone slabs.

Geologists believed the area must have been on the seabed about 1,000,000 years ago.
