On Sirius: Michael Franti & Spearhead ~ Light Up Ya Lighter

After the Roger Waters show we headed to Chicago to check in (all too briefly) with the Bowe family.

Got stuck in traffic on 94, as usual. Finally made it back to Milwaukee and hooked up with the family. It was really nice to see everyone.

My mom made our favorite cookies, and we all turned into monsters eating them.

We hung out at the hotel. It took 3 hours to have dinner because the electricity went out in the restaurant. But we got a good deal on our bar bill, and the food was delicious.

Our drive back to DC took 12 hours. The weather was perfect. The leaves had changed in some areas from just 2 days prior. Autumn is such a beautiful time of year.

I head back to Shanghai today. Will post as soon as I can.
