11/1/06 ~ All Saint's Day

On the Rio: Supertramp ~ Breakfast in America

Time seems to be flying by. Already we have November 1st. The American Holiday season will soon be here...Elections...and then hopefully something to be Thankful for..and then Peace on Earth, Good Will Towards Men...If only the sentiment could be more than words and shopping and narrow-minded-ness.

Well, I really don't know where that all came from.

Here are more pictures from the Mosaiculture Exhibit.

Love of Hunan: Hunan, a land of beauty and fertility, is an attraction to talents from around the world. The spectacle of green trees and red flowers flourishing all around delights the eyes of the youth. With a piece of lotus embroidery in her deft hands, the young girl is stitching into the nostalgia for the cherished tradition, and vision of the promising future.

Five Pavilion Bridge: The exhibit is a mosaiculture epitome of the Five Pavilion Bridge. The bridge built across the Shou Xi lake in 1757 is the emblam of the ancient city of Yangzhou. It has been recognized by a most distinguished bridge designer, Dr. Mao Yisheng, as the most beautiful and artistic bridge in China.
