4 July 2012 ~ HCMC Night Views ~ Part 2
Listening to: Jack Johnson ~ Adrift (Sleep Through The Static)
Happy Birthday USA
My second night in HCMC we went walking around to additional sites.
This is Reunification Palace at dusk.
The building was the residence of Ngo Dihn Nhiem, the president of the former south Vietnamese government in 1954 (when the French left and before the Americans and Chinese started the "game").
It is now used only for official functions.
Walking through the park came across this beautiful pavilion.
Then happened upon "lamp lane".
As well as "shoe store alley".
Came across a group practicing in the school yard.

I thought this sign was an interesting combo. Does the Masseuse or the recipient sing karaoke during the massage?!
And what really happens at a "belly shop"? Oh, upon closer view it was a store that specializes in belly dancing outfits. Ha!
Well, I met a new friend, but we did not sing karaoke.
