23 September 2015 ~ Tapas Walking Tour
Listening to: Kenny Wayne Shepard ~ Woke Up This Morning
Whew! This has been a crazy month, so sorry for the delay in postings. I just returned from a vacation in Peru, but before we get to that, let me finish up some of the Barcelona adventures.
After the yacht trip, a group of us got together for a wine & tapas walking tour. Our first stop was Euskal Taberra.
There are so many options to choose from, but the tour ticket only included two samples.
I selected an olive/anchovy skewer and a roasted pepper bread.
Everyone is enjoying themselves at our first stop.
Next we headed to Pork.
The place mats showed various cuts of meat.
We learned here how to make fresh bruschetta. Roast some bread slices, take a garlic glove and rub that on the bread, then take a fresh tomato and rub it on the bread, drizzle with some olive oil and sea salt. Delicious! Here are my friends sampling the bread along with some Spanish ham and wine.
Our last stop was la castanya.
I decided to try a beer here and was not disappointed.
The potato frittata was the perfect match.
