7 July 2012 ~ Eins, Zwei, Drei, Veir, Who's Gonna Buy the Beer

Listening to:  Molly B's Polka Dance Party

Arrived in Wisconsin yesterday and have been catching up from jet lag.

Went out for traditional Friday Night Fish Fry at Bayside.

Today the weather dropped from 100 to 85 and sat in the back yard. So we went shopping and played games (pictionary and Crazy 8's).

Here is my neighbors house growing up, the Schmidts'. They had an above ground swimming pool behind the garage which was fun in the summer.

Here is the house I grew up in at 206 Liberty Street.

At the juncture of DeClark Street.

Then I decided to go for a walk and see some old sights.

Across the street was the Athletic Field.

Here is where the high school football games were played until 1978 when the big tornado blew through and the field was demolished and turned into baseball diamonds. During the tornado our house garage was blown away, and my little brother was almost sucked out of the house like Toto from the Wizard of Oz. My mom (acting the role of Dorothy) hung on to him to not be blown away.

Here is where I took tennis lessons in 6th grade.

 This is my elementary school...Washington.

This is the hill at the school I rode my skate-board down and skinned my knee.
