This is the ferry boat that we needed to take across Lake Manapouri.

Here is the lake itself from the ferry video screen.

The rain and cold prevented me from going outside to get any pictures, so I only got this one from inside the cabin, whilst I drank hot chocolate.

After about a 45 minute ride, we arrived at the West Arm Visitor Center. It didn't have anything interesting inside, and only an old turbine outside.

Waiting for the coach to pick us up to continue to Doubtful Sound. It started snowing....

What did I get myself into? At least I was somewhat prepared with a wool sweater, scarf and mittens and a rain coat. Hmmm...
